The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship is the UK's premier motor sport series.

Ten events are held over weekends between April and October at circuits across the UK

Each event attracts an average 28,000 spectators

Typically 1.1 million viewers for each event shown live on ITV1 on Sunday afternoons.

3 BTCC and other support races entertain at each event

Demonstrations away from the circuit attract huge crowds and are excellent for team sponsors to capture a wider audience

Last year a BTCC demonstration was held with the cars in Edinburgh City centre
